JEWELRY TRADE ART APPLICATION
Dear Creative,
It's wonderful to have you here and I hope we can collaborate. There are some criteria necessary to participate in the Jewelry Trade Art project. For this project, I often reach out to the creatives whose work I admire and see if they would be interested in participating. Sometimes they accept, and sometimes my jewelry just isn’t their thing and they decline. The same goes for candidates, you are welcome to submit your work but taste is a very personal thing and this means that not every candidate will be accepted. With that said, there are three criteria
necessary to participate in the Jewelry Trade Art project.
1. The value of your artwork must resemble the value of my jewelry piece.
2. We must both sincerely admire and want to own the trade item in question.
3. Your artwork must be physical. At this point, we are not accepting digital, musical or any other non-physical artwork. This is for functionality purposes and does not discredit your artwork, as the brand develops we aim to start including these art forms in the trade project.
How it works.
Simply fill in your details below, including a means of accessing visual footage of your work, whether it's through attached photos, a website or social media. Try to show your work in its most realistic form and in as much detail as possible.
Once you receive confirmation that your request has been approved, we will get in touch through email or phone to discuss the pieces we would like to offer and answer any questions either of us may have regarding those pieces.
If both parties are ready to trade, we simply ship the respective item to the respective receiver. If there is a shipping cost involved, this amount falls on the senders, respectively.
To verify the sincerity of both parties, there is a legally binding contract to be signed by both parties which states that we agree to enter into this trade and that any fraudulence will not be tolerated.
Social Media.
Apart from the ideal of a circular economy, this project also serves to gain both parties online exposure. By participating in this project you therefore agree to have the art piece you traded, as well as a short description, shared on our social media and website pages, and vice-versa. Your work will always be appropriately credited and you have an input over how the work is presented online.
