The jewelry trade art project is an initiative that began alongside the launch of the brand since it is an ideology that the founder believes in; trade in replacement of purchase. Once a month I choose a new creative candidate to trade jewelry for art with. The conditions are that the trade value of both items must be similar (this is not measured by material cost but rather by creative integrity and the hours of work that went into the piece). Both parties must also sincerely admire the other's work, enough to want to own the piece, otherwise we simply remain in the cycle of consumerism. The goal for this project is to eventually live and work through a circular economy that supports and uplifts individuals rather than corporations and governments.
